Wonderful stay - December 2025
We booked the Christmas package at Westport Plaza Hotel, Co Mayo and could not have wished for a more enjoyable time. We were warmly welcomed by the reception staff and this ethos was carried throughout our stay. The restaurant with its superb food, bar and bedroom staff were exemplary which added to the enjoyment of the occasion. Thank you everybody for making this Christmas so special.
Fantastic Christmas, in a fantastic Hotel, with fantastic staff - December 2025
A party of six (4 Adults, 2 Children) arrived for a Christmas break, staying for three nights.
From start to finish the staff were exemplary, whether it be the front of house, the cleaning team, bar staff or the restaurant team.
You were always made to feel very special, and they were very generous with their time.
The rooms was very clean and in good condition and we all slept well.
The food was excellent, the food was of good quality, with a good portion size.
We utilised the swimming pool on a couple of occasions, and found the staff to be pleasant and helpful, and facilities to be very good.
We have to say our stay was immensely enjoyable, the staff, surroundings, and the little touches (Welcome packs, Santa, cocktails / mince pies) added to it.
Outstanding hotel - December 2025
This hotel is clearly the best of the Westport Hotels. Every aspect is four star. I have stayed in hotels in different parts of the world and this hotel rates up there with the best.The staff are excellent in friendliness and service. Spent the Christmas period here for the last three years.
Xmas experience that didn’t disappoint great value for money Highly recommend - December 2025
Just back from the Westport Plaza spent four nights which included Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We were very impressed with how well we were looked after and also the little attention to detail s which included a Xmas hamper loads of goodies. The food was outstanding the staff amazing Hasham you stood out fantastic with kids and customers .
I also was impressed with the general manager Michael who visited every table at breakfast lunch and dinner shook hands with all and engaged with every guest to see was there any thing who could do ……We will definitely return soon and would like to thank the staff for the kindness and attention.
A magical Christmas break - December 2025
Stayed at the Plaza for 3 night Christmas package . From check in to check out, it was an amazing experience. All the staff were so friendly & helpful.
All meals served in Coveys restaurant were delicious with a great variety of options for breakfast and dinner.
The mulled wine/champagne served with finger food and mince pies each afternoon was a lovely festive touch. I must also complement the pianist playing beautifully while we were enjoying our drinks.
A huge thank you to Michael,John and the Plaza team for a most enjoyable Christmas break.
