Another enjoyable break at the Westport Plaza - March 2026
We have just returned home from a wonderful stay at the Westport Plaza. Its a lovely Hotel with fabulous staff, terrific food and plenty of things to do. The location is great as it's in the town and not far from the train station. Looking forward to my next stay. 

Fabulous hotel - March 2026
Staff are friendly and very attentive, food was excellent. Hotel rooms were very spacious. Hotel is in a great location.
Lovely swimming pool and spa on site.

Loved our stay at the Westport Hotel, couldn’t fault it! Great location, facilities, food, value for money and most of all wonderful, helpful staff.

Great hotel in good location, staff very friendly and helpful - February 2026
Excellent hotel, we had a lovely spacious room with a bath. Very clean and well appointed with adjustable heat/AC and a really comfortable bed.
We ate in the restaurant- food and service great and excellent breakfast with buffet and made to order cooked breakfast which came piping hot.

A super hotel for a bridge trip with exceptional staff - February 2026
Myself & seventeen others from our bridge club spent 4 nights last week in the Westport Plaza Hotel. It is situated in a beautiful part of Ireland with Westport House Gardens and Greenway within easy walking distance. I really appreciated the staff who work in the hotel especially Claudia, Marian, Suna & Gabriel. They were so polite, attentive and efficient. It is the hotel with the best staff I have ever met. Every staff member was friendly & helpful and they couldn't do enough for us.
We had scones on arrival and the menu offered a gorgeous selection. The food was beautiful. The rooms were very clean, comfortable & spacious with water bottles added daily. We had lots of activities each day including a cookery demonstration with recipes supplied, bingo & the well kept swimming pool and spa.
We played bridge every evening in the large Dome Suite which easily catered for the approx. 144 players. There were daily prizes too and the games were well orgainsed. There was excellent live music in the bar each evening after the bridge.The final night we had a Gala Dinner followed by dancing to Kieran Donohoe, who had us all up on the floor with music we loved.
We had a wonderful few days and many of us have already booked a return visit for next year.

 

Perfect Break in Westport Plaza - February 2026
We’ve just back from a two-night stay at the Westport Plaza and honestly, it was brilliant from start to finish.
Breakfast was fab – such a wide range of choice and everything fresh and well presented. It set us up perfectly for the day. We had dinner in the hotel both nights and Sunday’s meal was so good we were actually reluctant to try anywhere else the second night! Thankfully we stayed put because it didn’t disappoint. Gorgeous food, great atmosphere… just fab.
Our room was beautiful – spotless, comfortable and really well finished. We paid extra for the Gold Experience and didn’t regret it for a second. Definitely worth it for that little added touch of luxury.
The staff really made the stay though. They couldn’t do enough for you. From housecleaning to waiting staff to reception, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It genuinely felt like they wanted you to have a great time.
The leisure suite was wonderful too – such a lovely space to relax and unwind.
All in all, a fantastic stay. We’ll definitely be back!

First time to stay in the Plaza, had a lovely stay beautiful hotel and breakfast was delicious got our stay at a good price would stay here again.

 

Top Class!!! - February 2026
This a wonderful hotel with great facilities ,great location excellent food and wonderful friendly staff.The Breakfast has a great choice from the buffet or order from waiter definitely try the omelette.Great swimming pool and spa this hotel caters for all.Coveys Restaurant is a must with a good choice menu and great food. Rooms are spacious and comfortable we definitely will return.

 

Westports best hotel! - February 2026
What a fantastic hotel!! Kathy on reception checked us in quickly and upgraded our room to a suite which was amazing! A huge well equipped suite with lounge, kitchenette, fridge microwave and TV in both lounge and bedroom!! The bedroom was very roomy with an extremely comfy bed, and the whole suite was spotless with extra touches like robes, slippers, wine, water, chocolates and fudge!! This hotel really made our stay in Ireland one to remember. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we’d ever had and our evening meal in the restaurant was delicious! We are planning to come back to Westport later in the year and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else!! 5 stars from us and thank you Kathy for making our stay so special!

 

5 star excellent hotel - February 2026
Perfect location. Close to train bus shops pubs. Lovely walks.
Warm inviting reception area with friendly staff. The restaurant experience was wonderful, food was full of flavour quality excellent and portions where generous in size. The staff were all pleasant friendly and very accommodating.
The rooms where very clean and spacious tea coffee facilities was a nice extra to have in the room.
The spa was so relaxing I had treatments by a wonderful lady.
My stay was pleasant comfortable and I certainly will return to the hotel again.

 

3 night stay in January - January 2026
Lovely hotel in middle of Westport. Nice big room. Great value. Atmosphere in the hotel very friendly and staff so helpful. Must mention Suna and Monica. Dined in the hotel. Food very good.

 

Wonderful experience - January 2026
I had a wonderful experience and atmosphere was so welcoming and friendly . Edward was a brilliant host. The food and the drinks were so excellent. Would really recommend this place to anyone visiting Westport! I cannot wait to return and come here again.

 

Fabulous break away - January 2026
Had a really lovely few days at the Plaza Hotel in lovely Westport. Facilities are excellent onsite- gym, pool and spa. Lovely food at Covey’s restaurant. However the standout on this trip was the staff- absolutely fantastic-every one of them!

 

Excellent stay and brilliant service - January 2026
Stayed with a group of friends in the Plaza, very cosy and comfortable hotel. Wonderful food and staff. Very friendly and excellent service. Especially the waiters who looked after us Luke and Edward! Couldn’t be happier with our experience there.

 

Will definitely be returning - December 2025
A fabulous hotel. Definitely a step up from city hotel. Staff so friendly, helpful and professional. Food devine and a great variety to suit all pallets. Cocktails and drinks great too. Emanual was our waiter and was absolutely brilliant. He went that extra mile for us by making our visit so enjoyable. Would def recommend and will def be back.
