FRONT OF HOUSE EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR 2014 – PETER SZUCH
Quietly going about his business Peter is Mr Reliable.  Always immaculately presented and with a subtle sense of humour he tends to his duties in the Restaurant.  He is the epitome of calmness  and composure and thrives in a busy environment . He is very popular with both fellow colleagues and guests and  he has received many mentions from happy customers. He  tackles extra duties with relish and always maintains a positive attitude and these are the reasons why we are delighted to have Peter on our team and present him with his coveted award.

BACK OF HOUSE EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR 2014 – ZOLTAN SZABO
Every Hotel kitchen needs good kitchen porters and Zoltan leads the backbone of the Plaza kitchen. No matter how many  pots or plates arrive at wash up or how busy the food operation is Zoltan is up to the task . He is always willing to help his fellow colleagues and take on extra jobs.  His attendance is excellent and the Plaza kitchen stays spotless in no small part due to the huge effort put in each day by Zoltan.

EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR 2014 – ALISON CONNEELY
Alison is the deserving winner of the Overall Employee of the year award for Westport Plaza hotel.  Alison is a very popular manager and is very diligent in her work.  She assists all departments each day and has a detailed knowledge of the overall  hotel operation. Alison relates very well with all fellow employees and especially with our guests and she also receives many mentions from happy customers. In December 2014 she oversaw the very busy Christmas programme which was a great success she remains a key part of the overall continued success of Westport Plaza Hotel.
